Stupid Christmas Carols - We wish you a merry Christmas

We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year

Good tidings we bring
To you and your kin
We wish you a Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year

Now bring us some figgy pudding
Now bring us some figgy pudding
Now bring us some figgy pudding
And a cup of good cheer

We won't go until we get some
We won't go until we get some
We won't go until we get some
So bring it right here

So bring us some figgy pudding
So bring us some figgy pudding
So bring us some figgy pudding
And bring it right here

Good tidings we bring
To you and your king
We wish you a Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year

Repeat Chorus Three Times
I can't find any copyright information for this song, so I'll assume somebody has one, and that somebody is not me.

So here is another stupid song, though there are just a few things to point out, aside from it's annoying lack of lyrics and content.
In the third verse our "guests" are rather impolitely telling us to bring some figgy pudding. I don't know about you but if somebody was visiting me and talked in that fashion to me, their host, I'd be tempted to kick them to the curb. Common sense would seem to tell a person to be a little more polite when asking for something, but I guess back in the day manners weren't standards and people didn't think it was rude to be rude.
The rudeness only gets ruder in the verse, where our "guests" tell us that they won't leave until we give them some figgy pudding, they then heap more insult to it by saying "So bring it right here" Like excuse me, but you are visiting me, you don't tell me what to do, this is my house, my castle, I alone have the power to tell people what to do in my home, and if I don't want to give somebody figgy pudding, which honestly after the way they asked I wouldn't give it even if I had been planning on it, rudeness is not to be encouraged, and if you give people their way after they are rude you are in a sense encouraging them to be rude again in the future as it will get them what they want.
My entire problem with this song is that we are encouraging people to be rude to their hosts and portray it as though it is alright and something to be modeled after rather than shunned and discouraged.
