If you love old school games and have a palm pilot, or something running PalmOS, you'll be interested in this post, however if you don't have a palmpilot there isn't much reason to keep reading.

So what is Kyle's Quest you ask well it's an easy to play, yet entertaining game, for PalmOS, I can't stress that enough, this is for PalmOS, something that is quickly dying out, but PalmPilots are still around, I have four personally, and this game plays well on most. With all the different levels I can't just give one story line that all the...

My latest submission to Blendswap.com

I've created about thirty trim/moulding profiles, using curves in Blender, because I used curves you can easily trim up a room just by using a curve with interpolation set to vector and not have to worry about getting good corners with a mesh version.
I'm going to add more profiles to this blend as time goes on and I want to add some more textures and a little system for creating picture frames, right now I'm having problems with that, because of the rotation needing to be...

I'm hoping that this blog post will be useful to some people, who such as myself are taking the plunge and building their own computer, well I've already built my own computer, and am now sharing some of the things I learned. Don't plug anything in until you have everything put together, you don't need the system live when you build it, you're only asking for trouble. Instructions are useless. You heard me, USELESS, not because you don't need them, but because they are so poorly made. I'm not suggesting you don't look at them, or read them, no, not at all, please...

In this post I'm going to show how to get notifications from people or pages on Google+ with limited work on your part. It only takes a minute or two to set up, and you get to reap the results forever.
To start with you're going to want to have a Google+ account, if you don't have that, I can't see that this is going to be much help to you.
Visit the Google+ home page and from there go to the people tab, in the drop down on the left upper corner. Click on the Your Circles and in the lower left portion of the...

So another song has started playing at my workplace all to often, and this time it really has some serious problems, one of which is I can't even tell what it is suppose to mean, but here are the lyrics, my discussion underneath, as usual.
"Call Me Maybe"
I threw a wish in the well,
Don't ask me, I'll never tell
I looked to you as it fell,
And now you're in my way
I'd trade my soul for a wish,
Pennies and dimes for a kiss
I wasn't looking for this,
But now you're in my way
Your stare was...

Sometimes you just really want to be able to get an RSS feed of a certain twitter user, are they called tweeters? Be it because you don't want them to know you are following them, and I'm not promoting stalking here, well not directly ;) Or maybe, and more likely, you just don't want to miss a tweet from somebody, but you aren't always checking twitter, and you don't have a mobile device that you can get a notification every time they tweet. Now it used to be possible in the past to get an RSS feed directly from Twitter, however with the API change that no longer...

Welcome back, if you haven't read part 1 you can find it here.

We'll be looking at more of the options that Variety gives us, starting with the Manual downloading tab.

Manual downloading is actually pretty cool, say you're browsing the web, and stumble upon a cool picture that you'd like to have as a desktop background, well you can just click'n'drag that image, or URL and drop it on the Variety icon in your status bar and the image will be saved to your...

Everybody likes a little variety in their life, be it Linux distros, themes, icon packs, or wallpapers. Well today I'm going to be telling you about a program that can bring you some variety to your desktop wallpaper. For those of you that are regular readers of my blog you'll probably remember my posting about a program called Cortina which is a very simple way to automatically change your wallpaper, but maybe you want something with a few more options, and more features, then look no further than Variety.

     Variety is a feature...

So once again its Halloween time for those of us in retail. This year new on the plate is skeleton gnomes. I must say, I've never understood what the deal was with gnomes, every spring/summer we get a collection of them and they always sell. Some smart person probably decided to tap the gnome market for Halloween, and I must admit we've already sold out of a couple, so the demand is certainly there. I only have one problem with these gnome skeletons, and that may be surprising, that I only have one problem with them and not many, but look at this picture of this...
